This was one tour that I can honestly say was worth doing & probably should be a must do/ see on your visit to Chicago. Tours depart day and evening from both the southwest corner of Polk Bros Park at Navy Pier and the northeast corner of the Michigan Avenue Bridge at the Apple store.

Chicago River Architecture Tour (45 minutes)
Today, we operate 11 major touring vessels and 6 water taxis, making our fleet the largest in Chicago. There are 10+ stops where you can hop-off the bus to visit attractions and explore places of interest. You can hop-on and hop-off the bus as many times as you like within the validity of your ticket and you may start and end your tour at any one of the Big Bus stops.

After purchase, please select your cruise date and download your cruise pass from our booking portal. On the day, head directly to the Shoreline departure point at Michigan Ave (401 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60611) and present your pass before boarding. If you don't select a date and downloaded your pass, please show your booking confirmation email to Big Bus Tours staff member before going to the Shoreline departure point. Now in its 83rd season, Shoreline Sightseeing operates Chicago's largest and most diverse fleet of cruise boats and water taxis with 11 major tour vessels and 7 water taxis. Chicago By Night Chicago River Architecture TourShoreline’s ChicagoByNight tour is designed for the 60 minutes duration. This nighttime architecture cruise starts from Shoreline’s dock at Ogden Slip in the Chicago river.
